Consolidated Princeton - Primary Election information
The Transition Task Force (TTF), created to assist in the creation of the new Princeton, is looking for volunteers interested in serving on a number of sub-committees. The sub-committees listed below are being formed now, additional sub-committees are likely to be formed over the next several weeks:
Meeting to begin planning consolidation process.
Princeton Senior Resource Center will host a Discussion on Consolidation on Wednesday, October 19th at 10:30am, in the Suzanne Patterson Building, behind Borough Hall.
As you may know, on Tuesday, November 8th, there will be a referendum asking you whether you will vote for or against consolidation of Princeton Borough and Princeton Township. How will you vote? Are you aware of the work of the Consolidation Commission and why they recommended consolidation? Do you have questions you’d like to have answered?
From the Office of the Governor, Sep 30, 2011 - Acting on a commitment to drive down the cost of government and enact real, long-term solutions to New Jersey’s highest in the nation property taxes, Governor Chris Christie today backed an effort to consolidate Princeton Borough and Princeton Township, while also taking steps to further promote sensible, locally-driven municipal consolidation efforts.
