D&R Greenway Land Trust invites the
public to the opening reception of "Crossing Cultures," their newest art
exhibition. Large in every sense, this array celebrates the biodiversity of
habitats inspiring regional artists in this 21st Century. All D&R Greenway
exhibits are nature-centric, calling attention to the beauties and import of
our environment and the urgency of preserving it. Assuming exhibitions may

Children’s librarian and literacy expert Kapila Love will speak at Princeton Public Library Wednesday, April 18, at 7 p.m. Her talk, "Reading the World and Other Miraculous Feats for People Big and Small,” takes place in the library’s Community Room.
A panel of educators will discuss how to bring sustainability into the classroom on Tuesday, April 24, when Princeton Public Library presents “Greening the Curriculum” at 4:30 p.m. The panel will explore the principles of sustainability education, provide lists of resources and model best practices being implemented in several local classrooms.

The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) will host a public lecture on environmentally friendly practices at Mercer County Community College’s West Windsor campus on Wednesday, April 25, at noon in the Communications Building, room 109. The talk is part of the college’s Distinguished Lecture Series.
March 15th-- Another in the series of “Talk With Your Farmers” will be at 7:00pm in the Princeton Public Library’s Community Room. What is involved in raising pasture fed poultry and eggs and beef and pork? What are the benefits to the public in both diet and sustainability? The Philadelphia Flower Show may be larger, but Mercer County Community College (MCCC) will host a horticulture event that is closer to home – and free!
