Shortly after 3pm this afternoon, a car crashed into the exit doors at McCaffrey's supermarket in the Princeton Shopping Center.

The Princeton Township Police Department reports that the driver,  David Isaacs of Hillsborough, had to be extricated from the car by the Rescue Squad.  He was taken to the Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

Two people inside the store were also taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.  It seems they were hit by debris rather than by the car.

Sgt. Tom Murray, head of the traffic unit, is investigating the cause of the accident.  There were no other vehicles involved.

Building inspectors are on the scene to determine the extent of the damage to the structure.  McCaffrey's continued to do business through the courtyard entrance this evening.
