Cherry Valley Road Speed Reduction

As a result of considerable investigation and discussion, as well as with the recent installation of pedestrian walkways and roadway improvements in the area, the Princeton Township Police Department, in conjunction with the Montgomery Township Police Department and NJ DOT, are announcing the implementation of a speed limit reduction from 40 mph to 35 mph for the length of Cherry Valley Rd.

As a result of this reduction in the speed limit both the Princeton Township and Montgomery Township Police Departments will be conducting a two week education campaign that will include the placement of variable message boards in the area to educate the motoring public about the speed reduction and newly adopted speed limit.

The education campaign is slated to begin on or about February 18th, 2012 and reminders will be posted on the Princeton Township website at www. princetontwp.org, as well as the Princeton Township Police Facebook and Twitter accounts.
