An associate professor of politics and African American studies at Princeton University, Harris-Lacewell is author of the award-winning “Barbershops, Bibles, and BET: Everyday Talk and Black Political Thought.” Her writings have been published in The Chicago Tribune, The Los Angeles Times, and Newsday and she provides commentary for NBC network and cable news.
