Want to see how your property revaluation compares with that of your neighbors? With the rest of Princeton? The Google Earth map that was demonstrated by the Princeton Fair Tax Revaluation Group at its last meeting is now available in the Google Earth Gallery for anyone to examine.
To view the interactive map, you have to download and install the Google Earth application, along with the Google Earth Web Plug-in. In your browser, go to the Ed Schrayer map in the Google Earth Gallery. You then have the option of viewing it in your browser, or opening it directly in your Google Earth application.
Blue and green arrows indicate properties whose values were reduced by the 2010 revaluation. Yellow, pink, and especially red arrows indicate which properties went up in assessed value.
Give it a test spin, and let us know what you think.
