On Monday, February 20, 2012 at approximately 11:35 pm Princeton Township Police responded to the area of Leigh Ave. and Race St. to investigate a report of a disturbance in the area. Upon arrival patrols located the victim, whose name is being withheld at this time, who reported that two black males had approached him and asked for a cigarette. The victim indicated that he had none and continued on his way, at which time the two individuals approached him from behind and began punching and kicking the victim. The individuals stole the victim's wallet containing cash and identification, and fled the area on foot. Anyone with information pertaining to this incident is urged to contact Det. On 02/17/2012 at approximately 2:45 pm, police responded to a residence on Hartley Avenue to investigate a report of a burglary. The investigation by patrols revealed forced entry to the front door of the residence, and it was determined that on the 17th sometime between approximately 6:00 am and 2:30 pm an unknown person or persons had entered the residence. The total property loss is unknown at this time, and the incident is currently under investigation.
