Peer pressure pushes some Princeton teens to drink and get drunk

This Wednesday, one day before the Princeton High School Prom, students will get a close look at what can happen in a fatal DWI accident.  Police, emergency services, and a funeral home will stage a dramatic reenactment of a DWI crash right on Walnut Street, between the Middle and High Schools.

This community-wide celebration of school gardens, healthy living and sustainability is now in its second year – last year attracted several hundred visitors and this year we expect even more will attend to enjoy live music, local food, gardening and nutrition demonstrations, sports clinics, and arts and crafts in our beautiful school gardens.

The exhibit is free and open to the public and takes place at The Gallery at MCCC, located on the second floor of the college's Communications Building on the West Windsor campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road. An Opening Reception is set for Wednesday, April 25, from 5 - 7:30 p.m.

West Windsor, NJ: Rutgers University Art Professor Judith Brodsky will discuss the contemporary art world at Mercer County Community College on Tuesday, April 17, at noon in the Communications Building, Room 110. The talk, entitled, “My Life in Art,” is the fourth in the college's Spring 2012 Distinguished Lecture Series, and will be held at the college’s West Windsor Campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road.

Professor Brodsky is an artist, printmaker and arts advocate. In her talk, she will draw from her own experience as an artist as well as from her projects as a curator and activist.

Children 3-10 years old will wander through the fields and forest of the Watershed Reserve in Pennington, in search of naturally dyed eggs. Children should bring a bag or basket to hold eggs. Registration requested - held rain or shine. $8 per child, no charge for adults.
