Erica Lehrer, poet, and Dr. Sam Wang, Associate Professor of Molecular Biology and Neuroscience at Princeton University, will be on hand to introduce and read from Lehrer’s collection of poems, Dancing with Ataxia. Profits from the sale of Dancing with Ataxia will be donated to Princeton’s Neuroscience Institute and towards medical research via the National Ataxia Foundation.

 “Children at Risk: trafficking and enslavement of children today” will be the topic for a lecture-conversation led by Dr. Francesca Nuzzolese on Sunday, February 19, at 4 p.m. at Princeton United Methodist Church (PUMC), located at Nassau & Vandeventer. A professor at Palmer Theological Seminary, Dr. Nuzzolese has been a missionary and pastoral counselor in the United States, Europe, and Australia, and she has just returned from investigating child enslavement in south Asia.

From 3:00-4:00 PM on Sunday, January 8, there will be an Interfaith Vigil on the first anniversary of the mass shooting in Tucson in Niles Chapel of Nassau Presbyterian Church, 61 Nassau Street, Princeton (across from Palmer Square). Those attending should enter the small door to the right of the large doors at the main entrance, then go down the hallway to Niles Chapel on the right.

It begins with a Candlelight Peace Vigil with the theme Swords into Ploughshares from 5:00-6:00 PM on Palmer Square in Princeton. Candles and posters will be supplied.

The Princeton Singers and artistic director Steven Sametz are scheduled to return for with the holiday concert, “A Child’s Christmas in Wales.”
This performance features music complementing Dylan Thomas’s classic Christmas story of misrule and mayhem in the life of a country boy at Christmas.  Music will include traditional holiday favorites and carols. The Reverend David Davis of Nassau Presbyterian Church will return as the narrator.
This program is recommended for children ages 12 and up.
