West Windsor, NJ – Maurer Productions OnStage brings classic laughs to the stage with the Neil Simon comedy “Laughter on the 23rd Floor” at Mercer County Community College’s Kelsey Theatre. Dates and times for this hilarious salute to the comedy writers of television’s golden age are: Fridays, Jan. 27 and Feb. 3 at 8 p.m.; Saturdays, Jan. 28 and Feb. 4 at 8 p.m.; and Sundays, Jan. 29 and Feb. 5 at 2 p.m. Kelsey Theatre is located on Mercer’s West Windsor campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road. A reception with the cast and crew follows the opening night performance on Jan. 27.

Fuente Ovejuna: A Disloyal Adaptation by Cusi Cram, a play about a real town in Spain whose people banded together to overthrow the cruel overlord will be performed on Nov. 17, 18 and 19 at 8 pm in the Berlind Theatre at McCarter Theatre Center at 91 University Place in Princeton. The Program in Creative Writing Althea Ward Clark W'21 Reading Series will present readings by poet Rita Dove and novelist James Salter on Oct. 19 at 4:30 pm in the Berlind Theatre at McCarter Theatre Center. McCarter Theatre will kick off its season with a community-wide Block Party on August 24 from 5 to 9 pm at 91 University Place in Princeton. Dancing under the stars with members of Fred Astaire Dance Studio to live music of the Philadelphia Jazz Orchestra, featuring the finest high school and college jazz musicians in the Greater Philadelphia and New Jersey regions will accompany activities for kids like spin art, face painting and JaZams fun. Princeton Ballet School (PBS), the official school of American Repertory Ballet (ARB), will present An Evening of Dance on July 29 at 6:30pm in McCarter Theatre Center at 91 University Place in Princeton. The performance celebrates the 30th Anniversary of the PBS international Summer Intensive program and will include student choreography orchestrated by Katie Glasner and new choreography by Mary Barton and Janell Byrne. The performance will also feature an excerpt from the classical ballet, Don Quixote as restaged by Maria Youskevitch and work by ARB Director Douglas Martin.
