Dancing and engaging at the Princeton Shopping Center

The Girls Scouts of Princeton marked the 100th anniversary of the Girl Scouts with a sunny, festive gathering at the Princeton Shopping Center this morning.
 
While more than a hundred girls participated in a mass outdoor Zumba lesson, others manned ten activity centers dotted around the courtyard, focusing on issues ranging from history and the outdoors, to the environment.

On Jan. 6 at 5:15 pm in the Princeton Ballet School, American Repertory Ballet will present The Music of Romeo and Juliet, an On Pointe Enrichment Series program featuring guest lecturer Simon Morrison. Morrison is a world-renowned Prokofiev expert, a music scholar, and a Princeton University Professor. The studio is located in the Princeton Shopping Center at 301 North Harrison Street. Eva Mantell gives the gift of creativity

Shortly after 3pm this afternoon, a car crashed into the exit doors at McCaffrey's supermarket in the Princeton Shopping Center.

The Princeton Township Police Department reports that the driver,  David Isaacs of Hillsborough, had to be extricated from the car by the Rescue Squad.  He was taken to the Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

The 25th annual summer concert series at the Princeton Shopping Center will be presented this year by the Arts Council of Princeton. The series will showcase regional acts as well as local favorites.

The Summer Courtyard Concert Series will take place every Thursday evening from 6:30-8:30 pm starting in June and ending August. All of the concerts are free and will take place in the Princeton Shopping Center Courtyard. Attendants should bring lawn chairs for comfortable viewing.

Princeton residents will light candles at dusk on Monday, December 13, 2010, in recognition of Womanspace’s 9th Annual Communities of Light™ (COL), the largest single project in Mercer County designed to increase awareness about the serious issues of domestic violence and sexual assault.

A formal ceremony with Township Mayor Bernard P. Miller and Borough Mayor Mildred T. Trotman will begin at 5:30pm at McCaffrey’s at Princeton Shopping Center on 301 N Harrison Street.
