Here comes Princyclopedia, Cotsen’s huge, annual event where we bring a book to life through a multitude of hands-on projects, activities, live shows, and demonstrations. This year’s book is Robin Hood, and we plan to bring the medieval world to life in all its splendor and glory!

See period weapons in action, sample mead, storm a castle, test your survival skills in Sherwood Forest, illuminate a manuscript, meet live falcons, discover the science of stained glass, examine a longbow, explore an alchemist’s workshop, and rock out to musicians playing hits from merrie olde England!

Kelly Harding’s personal journey from large-scale factory farming to local, organic, grass-based farming is a reflection of a much larger trend in 21st century America.

In recent years there has been a shift in the way Americans source, raise and consume their food. Many have moved away from processed, generic, and industrialized foods to foods produced on a small, local scale with much care given to the animals, the land and the environment. Kelly’s story offers a unique angle to this ground-breaking movement.

Princeton's Whole Earth Center played host to a group of marchers campaigning for mandatory labelling of genetically-modified foods.

Dubbed the "GMO Right2Know March", this trek began in Brooklyn on Saturday, and aims to reach a World Food Day rally in Washington D.C. on Oct. 16.  Along the way, marchers plan to stage rallies and meetups to raise awareness of their cause.
